After stepping back from a decades-long career in tech, I spent a year exploring new directions. I had a plan to put my corporate experience to good use through career mentoring — and spent many hours in coach training, from interview readiness and resume prep to a deep study of positive psychology.
It was in my positive psychology classes that I discovered mindfulness; or more accurately, when mindfulness practices clicked. I had always equated mindfulness simply with being present in the moment. But I slowly came to see it as a pragmatic and incredibly empowering tool; a practice that enabled intentional responses and value-aligned choices. While I had long recognized that job opportunities, workplace dynamics, and career growth are often shaped by factors beyond our control, it was through my training and practice that I came to see how mindfulness enables us to respond intentionally.
I put this site together for myself — a collection of the tools and practices I've found useful. My hope is that others will find their way here too.
